Senators, Hammond Agree to Extension

The Ottawa Senators have signed goaltender Andrew Hammond to a three-year, $4.05 million contract extension.

Hammond made his NHL debut at the age of 27 and went on a late-season spectacular run, posting a 20-1-2 record with a 1.79 GAA and .941 save percentage.

The deal most likely means the team will trade either Craig Anderson or Robin Lehner at some point during the off-season.
