Dan Rosen of NHL.com suggests that the Panthers may look to add a right-handed shooting defenseman in the wake of Aaron Ekblad’s broken leg.
Possible options for the Panthers that Rosen lists are Brandon Montour, David Savard, Sami Vatanen, Tony DeAngelo as well as internal option Anton Stralman.
DeAngelo might not be a great fit with the Panthers, who already have Keith Yandle who brings a lot of the same skillset and also doesn’t play penalty kill.
