He mentions that Jordan Martinook’s father posted to Facebook that Jordan is done in Carolina, that there’s talk that Warren Foegele is done with the team and that Dougie Hamilton is exploring his options in advance of free agency.
Friedman notes that Carolina will set the price they’re comfortable with and if the players don’t feel the same about their number, the team is comfortable moving on. He thinks Andrei Svechnikov is an exception there, and the team will do what it takes to get him under contract long-term.
