On the DFO Rundown Podcast, Frank Seravalli says (39:00) that the Philadelphia Flyers are hard at work to try to get the Kraken to take Jakub Voracek in the expansion draft, and there might be a first round pick in play.
He goes on to say there have been rumblings that Philadelphia is talking with Seattle to get them to take Vladimir Tarasenko and flip him to Philadelphia. He speculates that this might involve Seattle taking Robert Hagg from Philadelphia and Tarasenko from St. Louis, and then the Kraken trading Tarasenko to Philadelphia for Voracek and a 1st.
Tarasenko has two seasons left on his contract with a cap-hit of $7.5 million. Voracek has three seasons left at a cap-hit of $8.25 million.
Robert Hagg played under Kraken coach Dave Hakstol in Philadelphia.
