Report: Dahlin Contract Expected to be Around $10.5M per Season

Rasmus Dahlin’s new contract with the Sabres is expected to be around $10.5 million per season, according to After the Whistle with Craig Rivet and Andrew Peters.

Elliotte Friedman noted on the 32 Thoughts Podcast that there is still some work to be done on the contract between Dahlin and the Sabres.

Dahlin, 23, had 15 goals and 58 assists for the Sabres last season. He is under contract at a cap hit of $6 million for 2023-24, after which he’ll have one RFA season remaining before he is eligible for free agency.
