The Washington Capitals have signed Jakub Vrana to a try-out for training camp this fall.
Vrana was the Capitals’ 13th overall pick in the 2014 NHL draft and was traded to the Red Wings in 2021 in the trade that sent Anthony Mantha to Washington. Last season, the 28 year old wing split time between the NHL and AHL, putting up 2 goals and 4 assists in 21 games with the St. Louis Blues.
