The Minnesota Wild have re-signed Kirill Kaprizov to an 8-year contract extension with a cap-hit of $17 million.
The Wild and Kaprizov were in the news earlier this month when Kaprizov rejected the team’s 8-year offer at $16 million per season. The Wild came back and bumped up their offer and the Kaprizov is now signed to the largest contract in NHL history.
Kaprizov, 28, had 25 goals and 31 assists in 45 games for the Wild last season.
