According to Adrian Dater, Casey Mittelstadt might be on the trade block for the Colorado Avalanche soon.
Mittelstadt, 26, has 8 goals and 18 assists in 46 games for the Avalanche this season, but has only 1 assist in his last 7 games. He’s been below 15 minutes of ice time in 3 of his last 4 games.
Mittelstadt was acquired by the Sabres last season for Bowen Byram. The center is signed for 2 more seasons at a cap hit of $5.75 million.
