The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired Dakota Joshua from the Vancouver Canucks for a 2028 4th round pick.
The 29 year old winger had 7 goals and 7 assists in 57 games for the Canucks last season, a dip from the 18 goals and 14 assists in 2023-24.
Joshua is signed through 2027-28 at a cap hit of $3.25 million. The Canucks needed to clear space as they have a hole at the second line center spot which they have been unable to fill so far. Rick Dhaliwal reports that they have been in contact with Jack Roslovic.
