The New York Islander have re-signed Maxim Tsyplakov to a 2-year contract with a cap hit of $2.25 million.
Tsyplakov and the Islanders had an arbitration hearing set for July 29.
The winger will be eligible to be a UFA after this 2-year pact.
Tsyplakov, 26, had 10 goals and 25 assists in 77 games for the Islanders in his first NHL season last year.
