The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed Josh Doan to a 7-year contract extension with a cap hit of $6.95 million.
The Sabres acquired the winger from the Mammoth along with Michael Kesselring in last summer’s trade that sent J.J. Peterka out West.
This new contract covers 3 RFA seasons and 4 UFA seasons.
Doan, 23, has 15 goals and 20 assists in 49 games with the Sabres this season.
