Oilers acquire Jason Dickinson

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired Jason Dickinson and Colton Dach from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Andrew Mangiapane and a 2027 top-12 protected first round pick.

A big part of this trade for the Oilers is unloading Mangiapane’s $3.6 million cap hit through next season. Mangiapane cleared waivers this week.

Dickinson, 30, has 6 goals and 7 assists in 47 games for the Blackhawks this season.
