The Anaheim Ducks have acquired John Carlson from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2026 1st round pick and a 2027 3rd round pick.
The 1st round pick can shift to Anaheim’s 2027 1st round pick if the Ducks miss the playoffs this season, at their option.
The defenseman is a pending UFA this summer.
Carlson is 5th on the Capitals all-time list for points. He has 10 goals and 36 assists in 55 games this season.
