    The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired Luke Kunin from the Columbus Blue Jackets.

    Kunin, 27, had 11 goals and 7 assists in 63 games this season for San Jose.

    Stars acquire, extend Rantanen

    After a night and a morning worth of drama, Mikko Rantanen is headed to the Dallas Stars.

    The Hurricanes will be getting Logan Stankoven and 1st round picks in 2026 and 2027 from the Stars.

    He will be signing an 8-year deal with a cap hit of $12 million.

    The New Jersey Devils have re-signed Johnathan Kovacevic to a 5-year contract extension worth $4 million per season.

    Kovacevic, 27, has 1 goal and 13 assists in 63 games for the Devils this season.

    Jets acquire Brandon Tanev

    The Winnipeg Jets have acquired Brandon Tanev from the Seattle Kraken for a 2nd round pick in 2027.

    Tanev broke into the NHL with the Jets and played 3 seasons with the team until going to the Penguins prior to the 2019-20 season.

    Tanev, 33, has 9 goals and 8 assists in 60 games for the Kraken this season.

    Leafs acquire Scott Laughton

    The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired Scott Laughton from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Nikita Grebenkin and a 2027 1st round pick.

    The Leafs are also acquiring a 4th and a 6th round pick from the Flyers.

    Laughton fills a need at center for the Leafs, who saw Yanni Gourde go to Tampa Bay and Brock Nelson go to Colorado.

    The Flyers are retaining 50% of Laughton’s $3 million cap hit through next season.

    Jets acquire Luke Schenn

    The Winnipeg Jets have acquired Luke Schenn from the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 2nd and a 4th round pick.

    The Penguins acquired Schenn from Nashville 2 days ago. He did not play a game with the team.

    Kings acquire Andrei Kuzmenko

    The Los Angeles Kings have acquired Andrei Kuzmenko from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a 2027 3rd round pick.

    Kuzmenko, 29, has traded to the Flyers last month in a trade that send Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to Calgary. He had 2 goals and 5 assists in 7 games with the Flyers.

    Philadelphia is retaining 50% of Kuzmenko’s salary.

    Senators, Sabres swap Cozens for Norris

    The Ottawa Senators have traded Josh Norris and Jacob Bernard-Docker to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Dylan Cozens, Dennis Gilbert and a 2nd round pick.

    Cozens, 24, is signed through 2029-30 with a cap hit of $7.1 million. He had 68 points in 2022-23 but hasn’t been able to repeat since and has 11 goals and 21 assists in 61 games this season.

    Norris, 25, is signed through 2029-30 at a cap hit of $7.95 million. He has 20 goals and 13 assists in 53 games for the Senators this season.
