Because of his age, Boqvist is eligible for a one-third buy-out. His buy-out will come with a cap credit of $66,667 next season and a cap charge of $533,333 in 2025-26.

The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Alexander Holtz and Akira Schmid from the New Jersey Devils.
Holtz was the Devils’ 7th overall pick in 2020, but has struggled to find his footing at the NHL level with the Devils.
The Washington Capitals have acquired Logan Thompson from the Vegas Golden Knights.
Thompson is signed for next season at a cap hit of $766,667, after which he’ll be eligible to be a UFA.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired Kevin Hayes from the St. Louis Blues.
The Flyers are retaining 50% of Hayes’ contract, so the Penguins cap charge will be $3.571 million for the next two seasons.
