The Kings have re-signed Trevor Moore to a two-year contract worth $1.875 million per season.
Moore, 26, had 10 goals and 13 assists in 54 games with the Kings last season. He will be an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of this deal.

Brooks: Devils After Dougie Hamilton
Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports that the Devils and impeding UFA Dougie Hamilton have mutual interest.
Brooks suggests it might take a seven-year offer with a cap hit of $9 million annually to get Hamilton on the Devils.
Hamilton, 28, had 10 goals and 32 assists in 55 games for the Hurricanes in 2020-21. He finished 4th place in Norris voting.

Report: Teams Interested in Holtby
According to Matthew Sekeres, teams are interested in Vancouver’s Braden Holtby, provided the Canucks help to make the cap more manageable.
Holtby has one season left on his contract at a cap hit of $4.3 million. He can block a trade to four teams.

The cap hit might be a little lighter than most expected, but it’s not the eight-year term that most envisioned either. The contract only buys one UFA year for Makar.

Sam Reinhart Traded to Panthers
Elliotte Friedman reports that Sam Reinhart has been traded to the Florida Panthers.
It is the second trade for the Panthers today; they sent Rasmus Ristolainen to the Flyers earlier in the day.
Reinhart will be a RFA this summer, and is one season after from UFA eligibility.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired Jake Bean from the Carolina Hurricanes.
Bean, 23, had 1 goal and 11 assists in 42 games for the Hurricanes last season.

Blackhawks Acquire Seth Jones
The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Seth Jones.
The trade apparently involved the Blue Jackets sending Jones and the 31st pick to Chicago and the Hawks sending Adam Boqvist and the 11th pick to Columbus.
Jones has signed an 8-year extension with the Blackhawks with an AAV of $9.5 million.
Larry Brooks reports that Jones would have only signed long-term in Dallas or Chicago.
