The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed Kevin Labanc to a 1-year contract.
Labanc’s 1-year deal carries a cap-hit of $775,000.
Lebanc, 28, had a big preseason with the Devils, putting up 6 goals. He had 2 goals and 7 assists in 46 games with the Sharks last season.
The Vegas Golden Knights have signed Tanner Pearson to a 1-year contract.
Pearson, 32, had been in camp with the Golden Knights on a professional try-out. Last season with Montreal, he had 5 goals and 8 assists in 54 games.
The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed Cole Perfetti to a 2-year contract.
Perfetti, 22, had 19 goals and 19 assists in 71 games for the Jets last season.
The Colorado Avalanche have signed Logan O’Connor to a 6-year contract extension.
O’Connor, 28, had 13 goals and 12 assists in 57 games with Colorado last season.
The Vancouver Canucks have signed Kevin Lankinen to a 1-year contract.
Lankinen will provide the Canucks with depth in net, addressing some of the uncertainty due to injuries to Thatcher Demko and Arturs Silovs. Lankinen played last season in Nashville behind Juuse Saros.
The Utah Hockey Club are signing Dylan Guenther to an 8-year contract extension.
Guenther, 21, had 18 goals and 17 assists in his rookie season with the Arizona Coyotes last season.
Guenther has one more season on his entry-level contract, carrying a $894,176 cap hit for 2024-25. His new contract will cover 5 RFA seasons and 3 UFA seasons.
The New Jersey Devils have re-signed Dawson Mercer to a 3-year contract.
Mercer, 22, had 20 goals and 13 assists in 82 games with the Devils last season.
At the conclusion of this contract, Mercer will have 1 RFA season remaining.
