The Calgary Flames have acquired Simon Nemec from the New Jersey Devils along with Maxim Tsyplakov in exchange for the Rangers’ 2nd round pick in 2026 (35th overall), the Golden Knights’ 2027 1st, the Avalanche’s 2028 1st, and Etienne Morin.
Both 1st round picks acquired in the deal are top-10 protected, reports Elliotte Friedman.
Nemec, 22, was the Devils’ 2nd overall pick in 2022. In 68 games last season, he had 11 goals and 15 assists.
