The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed Connor Murphy to a 5-year contract with a cap hit of $4.1 million.
Ryan Rishaug reports the contract has a full no-trade clause in the first 3 seasons and a 16-team no-trade list for the final 2 seasons.
The Oilers paid a 2028 2nd round pick last season to acquire Murphy from the Blackhawks. In 80 games between the 2 teams, the 33-year old defenseman had 5 goals and 12 assists.
