Avalanche claim Kaapo Kahkonen off waivers
The Colorado Avalanche have claimed goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen off waivers from the Winnipeg Jets. Kakhonen signed a 1-year, $1 million contract with the Jets this summer, but they waived him this week, deciding to go with Eric Comrie behind Connor Hellebuyck.
