Jets Sign Pionk to Four-Year Deal
The Winnipeg Jets and Neal Pionk have agreed on a four-year deal.
Since joining the Jets, Pionk has 9 goals and 68 assists in 125 games.
The contract covers two RFA seasons and two UFA seasons.

Vrana Signs Three Year Deal with Wings
Jakub Vrana has signed a three-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings.
Vrana had filed for arbitration and his hearing was scheduled for tomorrow, but the two sides avoided having an arbitrator settle their fates.
Vrana, 25, went to Detroit after being traded from Washington in the Anthony Mantha trade. He had 8 goals and 3 assists in 11 games with the Red Wings after the trade.
The three-year pact buys the Red Wings one of Vrana’s UFA years.

Rangers Sign Shesterkin to Four Year Deal
The Rangers have signed goaltender Igor Shesterkin to a four-year deal.
The AAV seems a tad high, considering Shesterkin has played only 47 career NHL games and the deal covers only two UFA seasons. Shesterkin, 25, has a career 26-16-3 record with a 0.921 SV% in his NHL career.

Flyers Sign Carter Hart to Three-Year Deal
The Flyers have signed goaltender Carter Hart to a three-year deal.
Hart was thought to be on a short list of the top young goalies in the league before a very tough 2020-21 season. He is 47-37-9 in his career with a 0.905 SV%. Hart will have one RFA season remaining after this three-year contract.

Lundestrom and Steel Accept Qualifying Offers from Ducks
Isac Lundstrom and Sam Steel have both accepted their one-year qualifying offers from the Anaheim Ducks, as reported by Cap Friendly.
Both contracts are two-way deals worth $874,125 at the NHL level and $70,000 in the minors. It’s unlikely that the minor league salary will come into play, as both players are waiver eligible to start the 2020-21 season.

The Seattle Kraken have announced that they’ve signed Marcus Johansson to a one-year deal.
Johansson, 30, had 6 goals and 8 assists in 36 games for the Wild last season.

Islanders Lock Up Pelech on Eight Year Deal
The Islanders have signed Adam Pelech to an eight-year contract.
The deal covers seven unrestricted free agent years for the 26 year old defenseman.
One of the more accomplished defensive defensemen in the game, Pelech was one of 18 defensemen to get Norris votes for 2020-21.
