    Report: Tarasenko Trade Value Diminishing

Jeremy Rutherford of the Athletic reports that the trade market for Vladimir Tarasenko is diminishing.

Rutherford quotes his source: “The trajectory doesn’t get any better. They shit on this guy … to their own detriment. It’s time to move him. The train has left the station.”

He reports there was at one point four teams interested in Tarasenko, but the options are now dwindling, though at least two teams are still interested in the winger.

Rutherford mentions New Jersey and Carolina as two teams that make sense for Tarasenko.

Pierre Lebrun reports that Philipp Grubauer is close to signing with the Seattle Kraken.

This would leave the Avalanche without a clear starting goaltender and would presumably increase their pursuit of Darcy Kuemper.
